About The Position:
Knight Home Care Financial, a premier financial services and consulting firm dedicated to the long-term and post-acute care industries, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all accounting matters for our portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality financial services. The Manager will lead a dynamic team of staff accountants, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction.
Main Functions:
To be completely responsible for all accounting matters in a section of 30-50+ clients and manage a team of staff accountants.
Duties:
- Manage team/client load to ensure work is accurate and timely
- Review monthly financials produced by accountant before releasing to client
- Ensure team is meeting deadlines set by firm and governed by law
- Assist with client relations
- Assist in continuous process improvement of all firm processes for client work
- Offer training to clients and employees when needed
- Take a lead role in expanding additional firm services to clients
- Keep accurate time records daily
Goals and Expectations:
- Total time should consist of 75% billable time with a realization rate of $150/hr or greater
- Maintain an aggregate client load that is 3-5 times the gross cost of your position
- Aim for excellence in every task with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. We foster a supportive environment where errors are minimized through diligence and adherence to best practices (details available in the employee handbook).

- Meet and provide weekly updates to Director of Client Services
- Embrace flexibility in work hours to meet crucial deadlines, ensuring our commitment to excellence and timely project completion.

Employment Requirements:
- Completion of bachelor’s degree, emphasis in accounting
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting field
- Proficient spoken and written in English
- Punctual, meticulous, and reliable
- Courteous manners with the public
